We were in there talking to the grungy looking guy who fixes bikes. Super nice and helpful. He told us about the bunk house and said it was $10 per person and we could shower. Woo hoo!!! Well. Don't let us get too excited. More on that later.
The owner of the bike shop offered us a ride to the local restaurant, Park and Dine. Nice hometown feel here in Hancock.
So we got ourselves set up in the bunk house and the dude who fixed up our bikes also stays in the bunk house. OMG this dude is a trip! I think he's drunk. Anyhow, he's been talking crazy. I guess he's a bit lonely. I will try to get a pic of him.
Now let me touch on the port a potty. HORRIBLE!! The nastiest ones I have ever encountered. I sprayed sanitizer on everything. Did what I had to do and got the hell out of my thing!
Tomorrow will be a new day. My fingers are still tingly though and I've pretty much gotten over losing my camera. I called the store and he went out to look and didn't find anything. Cest la vie.
Tomorrow we head to Shepardstown!
